About

Ivor specialises in negotiating and drafting commercial technology contracts and advising on technology and digital media related legal and commercial issues.

He has gained experience across a range of industry sectors and has worked within a variety of in-house client legal teams, having been seconded to Inbev, UBS, Chi-X Europe and Instinet.

Ivor regularly advises on electronic commerce, procurement, intellectual property and privacy. He has also presented talks on topics such as cloud computing, online video content and data security/information management. He has written articles on online content paywalls, net neutrality and liability in IT contracts.

Ivor qualified as a solicitor in 2006. He graduated with a degree in Economic, Politics and North American Studies from the University of Leeds in 2000 and gained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course in 2004. Ivor trained and qualified into the ICT team at Simmons & Simmons and joined the practice in November 2009.
