  • Structuring ticketing arrangements for an international sporting event, including the tendering process, commercial contracts and dealing with complaints
  • Advising main parties to the Competition Commission market investigations into the UK groceries market, and payment protection insurance

  • Representing a successful complainant against abusive conduct and launching a follow on action for damages

 

About


Rachel advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, providing legal and strategic advice in relation to structuring transactions and obtaining merger clearance, compliance, investigations, launching and defending competition law actions and public procurement. Rachel has represented clients across a variety of sectors, including software, IT, financial services, retail, advertising, information services, travel, sports and music.

Rachel joined Kemp Little in July 2008 from S J Berwin where she qualified in September 2001. Rachel has extensive experience of dealing with the OFT, the Competition Commission and the European Commission, having worked in London, Brussels, and on secondment to the De Beers Group.

Rachel is also a member of the Law Society Competition Section’s Pro Bono scheme.
