Developments in IT Security

Wednesday 25 April 2007

That the security of organisations’ data and IT systems has emerged in the first years of the new century as newsworthy demonstrates its importance. This session will show some of the practical steps that organisations are increasingly taking in their contracts and policies to improve security and availability of data and systems and to minimise the risks of Internet misuse through DOS attacks and viruses; hacking, network sabotage and other unauthorised access; and data and identity theft and financial and other fraud.
