The current accent on cost savings is driving outsourcing projects. Coupled with the shift from the in-house server towards external data centres, companies are increasingly moving their core data outside the organisation.
In this session, Mike Conradi, head of our telecoms practice, reviewed current market practice and provided a guide to effective contracts – how to make sure your contract gives you effective access to your data, how you (and your regulator) can audit it, how you get it back promptly and usably at the end of the deal, and the contractual, availability, performance, security and back up levels you should be looking for.
