Kemp Little LLP, the specialist City law firm, advised the founders of eBenchmarkers Limited, David Carpenter and Stephen Adler, on the recent sale of eBenchmarkers Limited to Datamonitor plc.
eBenchmarkers provides operational performance benchmarking, focussing on financial services companies. The business serves over 50 blue-chip clients, and is experiencing high levels of growth having demonstrated an annual renewal rate of client business of 100%.
Siobhan McElhinney, partner in the corporate group, led the team and was assisted by Nadia Christodoulou (corporate) and David Williams (employment).
Siobhan McElhinney commented “I was delighted to be introduced to David and Stephen and enjoyed working with them and their corporate finance adviser, Ben Tolley, at Longacre Partners. We worked to a tight timetable which was made possible as a result of the commercial and pragmatic approach taken by all parties to the transaction and an understanding of the objectives of everyone involved. David and Stephen will continue to be closely involved in the business moving forward and I’m sure will make a great success of the opportunities that arise as a result of being part of the Datamonitor group”.
David Carpenter commented “We were very impressed with Siobhan's professionalism and commitment to getting the deal done”.
Neil Blundell and Mark Cummings at Bird & Bird acted for Datamonitor plc.
