Kemp Little LLP, the leading UK technology law firm, advised Danmon Systems Group A/S, part of the Dan Technologies Group, on its recent acquisition of ATG Broadcast Limited, provider of multi-service solutions for radio and television systems.
Danmon Systems Group A/S and ATG Broadcast Limited are independent systems suppliers with experience in both large and small projects, including computer-based media management solutions. The acquisition will consolidate two aligned companies within the Dan Technologies Group, which has a turnover of DKK 350 million across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the UK.
"For several years, we have been on the lookout for a partner," said Henning Brønnum of Danmon Systems Group. "Now we have successfully closed the deal to acquire ATG Broadcast Limited. We have followed ATG for many years, and it matches our strategy and goals. With this acquisition, we will further strengthen our systems integration capacity and at the same time become one of the Northern Europe's largest companies in the field."
Andy Moseby, associate in the Kemp Little corporate group, acted for Danmon Systems A/S. "We are delighted to have been involved in this important cross-border transaction for the Dan Technologies Group," commented Andy. "This is a good example of our ability to manage international deals and achieve a successful conclusion and we wish Dan Technologies Group every success in the future."
Commenting on the transaction, Ole Clausen of Danmon Systems Group said, "This is the first major transaction we have worked on with Kemp Little and we were highly impressed with Andy's responsive commercial advice and enthusiasm to close the deal."
