kemp little advises sita on strengthening of existing relationship with orange Business services

Kemp Little LLP, the leading UK technology law firm, advised SITA, a leading service provider of IT business solutions and communications services to the air transport community, on the enhancement of its existing strategic relationship with Orange Business Services.

SITA and Orange Business Services have a long history together since Equant's creation by SITA in 1991. The new enhanced agreement renews and furthers the strategic agreement signed in 2001 for the supply of services. Under the new enhanced agreement, and based on common objectives, SITA has confirmed Orange Business Services as its strategic partner for communications services and Orange Business Services has confirmed SITA as its strategic channel to the air transport community. The new enhanced agreement also reinforces the existing relationship with an enhanced scope of services, third party services integration and joint centres of excellence to address SITA customers' complex requirements.

Kemp Little LLP Commercial Technology Group partner David Meredith and solicitor Rebecca Anderson advised SITA on each of the three core contracts, which were signed on 1 June 2006. Meredith and Anderson worked as an integral part of the SITA legal and commercial team alongside SITA corporate counsel Stephen Baird, and SITA Head of Legal David Greaves.

David Greaves said, "This agreement marks a new and important stage in SITA's relationship with the France Telecom Group, and will bring further competitive and innovative solutions to SITA's air transport industry customers. The Kemp Little team were instrumental in successfully bringing the new arrangements through to signature against demanding timescales."
