KEMP LITTLE advises on sale of leading mobile user generated community platform

February 2007

Kemp Little LLP, the leading UK technology law firm, advised The Parkmead Group Plc, the London-based AIM listed merchant bank on the sale of its subsidiary Yospace Technologies Limited to EMAP Consumer Media Limited. Yospace was sold for a total consideration of £8.7million in cash with further deferred consideration of up to £5.7million payable depending on Yospace's operating performance over the period to 31 March 2010.

Yospace is a technology and new media business which has developed a mobile video-based, user-generated community platform. Yospace's products include the "See me TV" and "LookAtMe!" services and its customers include the major mobile network operators in the UK. The acquisition has received national press coverage.

Charles Claisse, a partner in the corporate group, together with assistant Anne Dolan, advised The Parkmead Group Plc. Charles said "I was delighted to be working with Parkmead on this sale and assisting in the exit of another member of its investment portfolio."
