KEMP LITTLE ACTS FOR THOMSON FINANCIAL ON ITS ACQUISITION OF AFX NEWS LIMITED

Partner, Lucy Vernall, advised Thomson Financial, leading provider of information and technology solutions to the global financial community, on its acquisition of financial news service AFX News Limited from Agence France Presse, the European news service. The acquisition, which completed on 18th July 2006, further develops Thomson Financial’s European proprietary real-time news offering targeted to clients in the business and financial communities. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
