Freedom of Information Act

Following the UK government’s recent pledge to encourage and promote greater transparency across government departments, the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) has become the subject of renewed interest for:

• Public sector departments;
• Suppliers contracting with the public sector; and
• Private sector parties interesting in requesting information held by public sector departments.
