Pro Bono
We have a strong tradition of providing pro bono work (free legal work for not for profit organisations that have no access or funding to legal advice) to various organisations. We encourage all our lawyers to participate and all pro bono matters are undertaken to the same high standard as work for our business clients.
Our pro bono work includes:
- ProHelp London – www.prohelp.org.uk. ProHelp is a national network of professional firms offering free support to the voluntary sector. Kemp Little supports this initiative in London and works with a wide variety of voluntary and community organisations.
- LawWork – www.lawworks.org.uk. Kemp Little provides supervising solicitors for BPP ’s law clinic which is run by BPP ’s students who advise employees on problems that they are experiencing in the workplace.
- FRU – www.freerepresentationunit.org.uk. Our employment team represents employees who could not otherwise afford representation in the Employment Tribunal.
In addition to the schemes above, Kemp Little provides ad hoc pro bono advice to various voluntary and community organisations.
