COVID19: Intellectual Property Signature Issues and Formalities
Given the current climate, a number of Intellectual Property Offices requiring signed documents have confirmed that soft copies will be sufficient, with hard copies to follow once Applicants are able to / the Intellectual Property Office re-opens if closed.
It is not yet clear whether electronic signatures will be accepted and this will be on a case by case basis dependent on the document to be signed and territory.
