Kemp Little, the leading technology and digital law firm, announced a 12% increase in revenues for its 2016-17 financial year, taking fee revenue to £13.7million and marking three consecutive years of double digit growth.
The past year has seen an ongoing focus on investment in and rollout of new technology and software to improve service delivery and efficiency. The results follow on from 15 months of strategic partner hires, which are now beginning to make important contributions to driving growth in telecoms, sourcing and technology disputes.
The firm won a significant panel appointment from BT during the year as well as adding numerous new clients to its roster including fintech giant FIS Global, global sourcing leader Genpact, and exciting emerging technology providers such as Eigen Technologies in AI and Onfido in biometrics among others.
Andrew Joint, who took over as Managing Partner in April this year, said, “We are delighted that our continued focus on tech and our ongoing investments in people and systems are already contributing to revenue growth. It is also gratifying to see our efforts recognised by industry peers in awarding us the Lawyer Magazine’s Boutique Law Firm of the Year award.“
