Doctors and nurses will be exempt from the cap on non-EU workers in a bid to alleviate the huge number of vacancies within the NHS. The changes are due to be announced on Friday 15 June 2018.
This will be welcome news to the tech industry as the removal of NHS workers from the cap will free up visas for companies which have been struggling to secure visas in some cases, for several months.
